Day Three
1. Be grateful.
2. Strengthen your faith.
3. Know and clarify your thoughts!
To release the power you contain, it is very important to become clear about what it is you want. To simply say I want a new car is not being clear. Now, to say, “I want a new 2015 Blue, Honda Pilot with tan seats and the touring package,” is clarifying what type, color and model of car I am specifically wanting.
First, when I am thinking about what I want and the tiny little negative thoughts start to appear... like, “ya right, like that will happen,” or “and just how do I think I’m going to make that happen without even having a job?” I will say “cancel, cancel” to those internal comments and be ever more determined to focus on this specific car that I want.
Activity:
Today, I sit down, on a piece of paper I write down things, products that I want in a straight line. Beside each item I will expand on it. Giving each item a color, a use, a brand, etc. If it is a car I want, I will go to the website an “build my car” so I know exactly what I want on it, what it looks like an so I can imagine myself in the drivers seat.
Other items that I list may start to pop out as items that I would like more than the other. Without, downgrading one item for another in my mind, I will just acknowledge that there is another item that captures my thoughts more than the other at this time. Now, I may decide to focus more on the new item than the vehicle, although the vehicle is there with clarity if my mind starts to drift toward it again. By making this list, I know precisely what I want with detail and find out exactly where I really want to be directing my thoughts at this time.
Knowing your thoughts, knowing what it is, exactly, you want, will signal out a specific item, want or need that will lead you toward it.
Another way to acknowledge what it is you really want is a dream board. Cut out pictures from a magazine, sale’s ad pages or print them off the internet and paste them to a poster board. Place the dream board in a place where you are always reminded of things in the pictures.
This is a great activity for young children as it guides them to concentrate on what it is they want in the future and in life. Helps them to learn a level of focus that most people never acquire.
Good luck!
**Today, my current focus are on a new Honda as I mentioned above, winning millions in the Kentucky State Lottery and obtaining a certain job position I recently applied for.

Day Two
Day Two in incorporating positive changes into my life.
1. Being sincerely grateful. (Day One)
2. Have faith in what you pray/ask/think for. (Day Two)
Faith (in Greek: pistis) is to see/recognize (elegchos) the existence (hupostasis) of things (pragmaton) hoped for (elpizomenon) which are not seen (oo blepopenon).
(The words in brown are in the Greek language.)
There are a lot of different philosophies about what faith is. In Wallace D. Wattle’s book, “The Science of Getting Rich” he say’s, “Also, faith is born of gratitude. The reaction of gratitude upon one’s own mind produces faith. Every outgoing wave of grateful thanksgiving increases faith. The person who has no feeling of gratitude cannot long retain a living faith. Without a living faith you cannot get rich by the creative method.”
Since faith is tied in closely with gratitude, I believe faith is a perfect choice for my Day Two addition. Faith is simply believing without seeing!
I am related to a lady who acts on assumptions. I routinely remind her that “we are assuming this, it doesn’t mean it is true. We need the facts before we know what happened exactly.” But there she goes, because we had put 2 and 2 together and came up with 7, what we had just assumed becomes her truth. She 100% believes our assumptions without knowing the facts or being there to see what happened. It is the wildest thing to listen to her.
Somewhat, like my relative, I will strengthen my faith. I will know, like I know, like I know that the thoughts that are in my mind and my heart are real and factual. The things I hope for, dream of and think about, but yet have seen, are in existence now and are mine.
My daughter, became very sick twice, once at age 5 and the other was at age 6. The first time I was holding her, praying for her to become well and calling my Dad and asked him to pray for her. I went pretty much without sleep for 3 nights. What happened on this particular day is while my daughter was laying helplessly in my arms as I was rocking her, she all of the sudden jumped up out of my arms, went to the front door, flung it open and ran outside. Smiling and very excited she screames, “The doctor, the doctor." Waving into the country fall air at what appeared to be nothing. She ran inside into her playroom and started playing like she hadn’t been sick at all. I asked her, “who were you waving at?” She simply said, “The doctor."
The second time, when she was 6 years old, I was rocking her upstairs in the living room. Again, she climbed out of my lap, ran to our big window and started waving as fast as she could. I jumped up, ran to the windows and seen nothing but a bright, clear blue sky over cow pastures with mountains in the far distance. Looking down at her I asked, “who are you waving at?” She joyfully and matter of factly answered, “The doctor, Mom.” In a matter of a moment, she was so sick and then she was entirely well.
During this time, I had put peacock feathers and other decorations on the counter where I had started making a floral arrangement before she had gotten sick. She ran to the counter, picked up all the feathers and clipped them onto a faux tree that was sitting in a corner by the window. When she had finished decorating the little tree, she ran downstairs to her playroom and started playing like she had never been sick. (She is now 15 years old and the feathers are still on that tree from that day as a reminder that something very powerful and special happened to my little girl.)
Because I did not see anything or anyone, I have a boat load of faith that she either saw a spirit, an Angel, Jesus, she saw someone who touched her and made her well. I know and I have no doubt that this spirit was so clear to her that she felt obliged, both times, to wave and say goodbye to them. She was filled with an overabundance of happiness and appeared to be filled with so much glee that they had visited her, it was like she decorated the tree in their honor and went on about her business. I looked out that window, for I know an hour afterwards, saying thank you.
That’s the faith I am incorporating back into my life. Knowing, like I know, like I know, like I KNOW that my thoughts create my life and my dreams really do become reality. I may not be able to see it or touch it at this moment, but it is surely here and it is surely mine. I have no doubt about it. My faith is strong, my faith is real and my faith is mine.
Peace be with you always :)

Day One :)
Sunday. November 2, 2014
1. Be sincerely grateful.
Today, day one of my experiment, I begin this journey developing and maintaining a focus of gratitude. Insuring that I dwell in thanksgiving for all that I have, have had and will have. When a negative thought enters my mind I will consciously cancel it out by thinking or saying “Cancel. Cancel.”
Wallace D. Wattles makes it very clear how important gratitude is in taxiing us from where we are right now to a far better place. One you may not even imagine. Some may say, “I like my world just how it is!” That is wonderful and I am so happy for you. Though, isn’t there just a little area worth improving upon?
My wishes, dreams, expectations are to land a new career with a personal income of $120,000.00 or more. A career that is in the writing business, public speaking business, coaching business, Nutrition business, motivation business, health business, etc. These careers definitely fit into my life loves and passions.
Who hasn’t dreamt of winning the lottery? I have so often that I can feel the foam cardboard between my finger tips that has a picture of my check, written out to me. I’m standing there smiling from ear to ear. I smell the room, I can see and hear the people in front of me and I notice how the flash of the cameras taint the clarity of my vision. I also know what I am wearing and how I traveled there to exchange my ticket for cash.
I have a lot of dreams. Dreams are just that though, dreams, without a clarity of focus. A sincere gratitude of what you have had in the past, how you got to where you are today and knowing that this moment is necessary to carry you over into the next part of your journey is your ticket. With that said, we are grateful for this moment, without it, we would be stuck in yesterday, never growing and never realizing what we’re actually able to achieve and/or accomplish.
The following is an excerpt from Wallace D. Wattles book “The Science of Getting Rich”, about how important gratitude is and how it affects us. If you haven’t read his book or listened to it yet, I highly recommend it.
"When good things come to us, the more gratefully we fix our minds on the Supreme Power, the more good things we will receive—and the more rapidly they will come. The reason for this is simply that the mental attitude of gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the source from which the blessings come.
If it is a new thought to you that gratitude brings your whole mind into closer harmony with the creative energies of the universe, consider it well, and you will see that it is true. The good things you already possess have come to you because of certain laws. Gratitude will lead your mind out along the ways by which things come. And, it will keep you in close harmony with creative thought and prevent you from falling into competitive thought.
Gratitude alone can keep you looking toward the Infinite and prevent you from falling into the error of thinking that the supply of riches is limited—and to think that would be fatal to your hopes.
There is a law of gratitude, and if you are to get the results you seek, it is absolutely necessary that you should observe this law.
The law of gratitude is the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions. The grateful outreaching of your mind in thankful praise to the Supreme Power is a liberation or expenditure of force; it cannot fail to reach that to which it is addressed. And, as a result, God responds with an instantaneous movement toward you.
“Draw nigh unto God, and He will draw nigh unto you.” That is a statement of psychological truth.
And, if your gratitude is strong and constant, the reaction in the formless substance will be strong and continuous. The movement of the things you want will always be toward you. Notice the grateful attitude that Jesus took—how he always
seems to be saying, “I thank Thee, Father, that Thou hearest me.” You cannot exercise much power without gratitude, because it is gratitude that keeps you connected with power.
The moment you permit your mind to dwell with dissatisfaction upon things as they are, you begin to lose ground. You fix attention upon the common, the poor, the squalid, and the mean—and your mind takes the form of these things. You will then transmit these forms or mental images to the formless. Thus, the common, the poor, the squalid, and the mean will come to you.

To permit your mind to dwell upon the inferior is to become inferior and to surround yourself with inferior things. On the other hand, to fix your attention on the best is to surround yourself with the best and to become the best.
The creative power within us makes us into the image of that to which we give our attention. We are thinking substance, and thinking substance always takes the form of that which it thinks about.
The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best. Therefore, it tends to become the best; it takes the form or character of the best and will receive the best.”
(Wattles, W.D., The science of getting rich, Gratitude)
So today, day one, I am grateful. I am very, very grateful. This is my focus today and is now an important part of my day, everyday, from here on out
Peace be to you always.

What I am experimenting with......
Have you ever read a self improvement article or some kind of motivational book? Have you listened to an audiobook while driving in your car, providing you with all the “how to’s” on getting rich, achieving success or simply how to think productively? I have read and listened to all kinds of speakers and authors for the last 25 years. Let me ask you this... have you applied the knowledge that you learned? Probably not, but if you did, it was probably forgotten about the next day. It’s so easy to get motivated by these books, videos and cd’s but it’s easier to forget the advice they give us.
When I was 26, I had no idea what I was looking for but I knew something was missing in my life. I was aching for an internal hole to be filled. I knew there was something more to reach for on a day to day basis but I didn’t know there was advise on what to reach for or how to reach for it. Until a friend loaned me a set of CD’s on self improvement. Who was the speaker? None other than Anythony Robbins. From the first CD I listened to, I knew I was hooked.
However, day to day routines seems to swallow up the need or desire to make changes in our lives. Going about the same routine day in and day out becomes easy and comforting. Changing anything about our routine places an obstacle course into the set and easy routine which creates the need, we think, to muster up even more energy after running after the kids all day, after a hard day at work or while going through a painful relationship, breakup or death.
Last March I decided to dabbled in these new thought processes after losing my job. Each day I posted something I was incorporating into my life on Facebook. Why Facebook? Mainly because it put my quest out there and made me more accountable. In just, I think, seven to nine days my world started moving, changing and awesome opportunities were appearing before my eyes. No lie! So why did I stop there? Because I took the opportunity I thought was best for me and moved on.
At a luncheon, given by a potential employer who handed me a fabulous offer, the lady next to me dropped her jaw, looked at me and said, “You know why you got that don’t you? Because of those things you posted on Facebook.” I smiled with butterflies in my stomach as I quietly said to myself, “Oh my gosh, it worked!” I accepted the out of state job position just to decline it the following Monday to accept the proposal for marriage from the love of my life.
I am anxious to do this challenge again. It’s fun, puts happiness into your day, but it also clarifies a path for your individual passions, what you may have been born to do. All in all, it’s a learning experience about love, gratitude and how to think positively and do this with ease.
So, what is my experiment? For 51 days, I will incorporate, consciously and publicly , a “tip” or “suggestion” from various motivating/self development speakers and/or writers into my daily life. I will write about each one everyday and share on my blogs when and what changes take place.
I am curious as to how fast and how well my little piece of the world might evolve into a fun filled, successful, rich, physical and mentally fit life. Do I want to take advantage of all things good available to me? You bet’cha. Is it worth the energy to consciously make the effort to change? You bet’cha. Am I ready to achieve a more successful career, an even better relationship and gobs more money in my bank account? Absolutely.
Please join me on my journey for the next 51 days and read about what can potentially happen when we dabble in positivity.
