Day Three - Clarify your thoughts.

Day Three

1.  Be grateful.
2.  Strengthen your faith.
3.  Know and clarify your thoughts!

To release the power you contain, it is very important to become clear about what it is you want.  To simply say I want a new car is not being clear.  Now, to say, “I want a new 2015 Blue, Honda Pilot with tan seats and the touring package,” is clarifying what type, color and model of car I am specifically wanting.

First, when I am thinking about what I want and the tiny little negative thoughts start to appear... like, “ya right, like that will happen,” or “and just how do I think I’m going to make that happen without even having a job?”  I will say “cancel, cancel” to those internal comments and be ever more determined to focus on this specific car that I want.

Activity:
Today, I sit down, on a piece of paper I write down things, products that I want in a straight line.  Beside each item I will expand on it.  Giving each item a color, a use, a brand, etc.  If it is a car I want, I will go to the website an “build my car” so I know exactly what I want on it, what it looks like an so I can imagine myself in the drivers seat.

Other items that I list may start to pop out as items that I would like more than the other.  Without, downgrading one item for another in my mind, I will just acknowledge that there is another item that captures my thoughts more than the other at this time.  Now, I may decide to focus more on the new item than the vehicle, although the vehicle is there with clarity if my mind starts to drift toward it again.  By making this list, I know precisely what I want with detail and find out exactly where I really want to be directing my thoughts at this time.

Knowing your thoughts, knowing what it is, exactly, you want, will signal out a specific item, want or need that will lead you toward it.

Another way to acknowledge what it is you really want is a dream board.  Cut out pictures from a magazine, sale’s ad pages or print them off the internet and paste them to a poster board.  Place the dream board in a place where you are always reminded of things in the pictures.

This is a great activity for young children as it guides them to concentrate on what it is they want in the future and in life.  Helps them to learn a level of focus that most people never acquire.

Good luck!

**Today, my current focus are on a new Honda as I mentioned above, winning millions in the Kentucky State Lottery and obtaining a certain job position I recently applied for.
